PIT® is a national non-profit organization that has been providing emotional support, resume help, networking, and job-search tools and techniques since 1992.

Professionals in Transition® is open to anyone in need of support. Our members are men and women of all ages and every occupational area. Over our history, Professionals in Transition has responded to the re-employment needs of thousands of professionals and their families.

PIT provides emotional support to help stop the "free fall" that occurs when job loss occurs and serves as a lifeline to those in turmoil and pain.  Re-employment support is offered through peer coaching, networking leads, job search tools, tips and techniques.

But what about the term "professionals?"

We believe that the term "professional" is a mind set. It is who you are, not what you do. Unemployment is a temporary condition.

How can we help you?

We are a member-based non-profit organization that provides high quality information, education and services at a fraction of the cost of private outplacement firms.  We can do this because we provide extremely high value for our very low membership cost.
